Rogue Valley International Medford Airport's director Mr. Bern Case, talks about the airport being a part of the Southern Oregon economic development. Even though the world has seen a downturn in the economy in the past few years, Mr. Case is optimistic about the continued growth of the Medford airport. A supporter of Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development Incorporated, Mr. Case is proud to have Mr. Ron Fox, executive directgor of SOREDI as a member of the advisory board for the airport. Southern Oregon is a retirement and tourist haven. The natural beauty of the Rogue River, rafting, fishing, boating, golf, The Britt Festival, the Shakespeare Festival and the local Craterion Theater as well as the new Randall Community Theatre draws a half million tourists or more each year to the area.
