She was born in Pasadena, California and grew up in Tempe, Arizona. Anne received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. As a student, Anne worked for the Cronkite News Service, traveling around the state of Arizona to cover stories. Also while attending ASU, Anne was selected for the EW Scripps-Howard Scholarship Program with KNXV-TV (ABC 15 News) in Phoenix and interned at the station for two years. Anne loves meeting new people, seeing new places and telling great news stories! In her free time she likes to shop, run, raft, hike, sing and dance (West Coast Swing and Salsa!)
